Offering an Extensive Product Lineup and Core Technologies to Meet Customer Needs

[Photo]: Satoshi Yoshizawa, PresidentIwate Toshiba Electronics is a 100% Toshiba Corporation owned semiconductor assembling company established in 1973.
We have built an integrated production system for semiconductor device development, design, prototyping, and manufacturing, and using this system, we manufacture not only logic IC products such as microcomputers and ASICs but also imaging devices such as CMOS image sensors and CCD area image sensors. In addition to build-to-order manufacturing for Toshiba Corporation, we provide foundry services to non-Toshiba companies using our specialized technologies and processes.
For imaging devices for example, chip scale camera module (CSCM) products installed in mobile phone cameras are manufactured using one of our core technologies called the TCV*1 technology. This technology allows reduction of the camera module product volume to 64%, and we believe it will allow a wider selection of applications to be installed.

Pursuit of Integrity

As a member of the Toshiba Group and as a corporate citizen of this planet, we are engaged in CSR management with "integrity" as the keyword for business operation.
The word "integrity" has two meanings for the Toshiba Group.
The first is to sincerely address a wide variety of problems that society faces and fulfill our responsibilities in resolving them through our business activities. We believe, for instance, that we can contribute to alleviation of universal problems such as global warming by improving power facility efficiency. Also, we plan to produce semiconductor products that can realize lower power consumption and higher energy saving efficiency so that the lives of people around the world will be richer and safer.
The second is management and financial soundness. We will sustain a stable revenue base and financial strength established on our manufacturing competitiveness, and put human life, safety, and compliance first in all business aspects as the foundation of management. Furthermore, the Toshiba Group has the Toshiba Group Standards of Conduct. This stipulates for each employee the standards of conduct, company-individual relationship, and company-society relationship in order to ensure that each employee is socially reliable and responsible.

Improving ourselves to Serve Growing Customers with "Speed and Flexibility"

While the economy of developed countries is recovering, the growth of the consumer market of developing countries has been contributing to global digitization, networking, and an increase of information volume. Accompanying this, the semiconductor market has been expanding globally. In order to increase our share in such a worldwide market, we will take full advantage of our integrated production system with "speed and flexibility" as our motto. We will at the same ensure the quality of our service such that we can continue to improve ourselves as our customers develop.

Thank you very much for your continued support.
